Why Hire Me ?
Flexible Availability: I am available by phone weekdays, evenings and weekends. Inspections are generally performed Monday-Friday between 8:00 A.M. and 5: 00 P.M. Call me for evening and weekend inspection availability.
Our Personal Service: I am the owner and the only inspector. Our full time home inspection company is our only business: we promise to give you the attention you expect.
Your Report: You will receive an easy to read, professional report that includes digital photographs of your future home.
Your report will describe any areas that need immediate attention, areas with long term needs and any safety concerns observed.
Your report is unique in that it is a narrative/checklist style. The checklist section shows areas in need of attention at a glance, and the narrative section describes these items in detail.
I DO NOT RUSH: Your inspection will average 2-4 hours, depending on several factors, including the size and age of the home. Upon returning to the office, the report will average 1 -1 ½ hours to compose. It must be perfect for you.
Detached Garage Included: If your property has a detached garage it is included as part of our standard inspection. Most home inspections companies charge an additional fee for this service.

I have 35 years’ experience rehabbing houses, 26 years in the heating & air conditioning field and 5 years in the electrical field.
I use state of the art test instruments such as a moisture meter and infrared thermometer.
I am licensed as a home inspector (# 450.011035) and as a home inspector entity (#451.000993) in the state of Illinois.
I am a graduate of The Bellman Group, Northbrook IL., which are leaders in the inspection industry. The state of Illinois requires individuals to complete a minimum of 60 hours of approved training before taking the licensing examination. The Bellman Group provides an 88 hour, instructor led, home inspection training program with top instructors and training methods.
I have passed the National Home Inspector Examination.
I have passed ASHI’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice Exam.
I participate in continuing education each year.
