It was a pleasure dealing with Ed. He arrived at the property 15 minutes before our scheduled appointment, walked the outside of the property alone to get familiar. Upon our arrival Ed walked us through the exterior of the building informing us what he would be looking at, what he is actually present, why an item was deficient or up to par, items that were maintenance issues, items that must be addressed prior to settlement. Once we finished outside, we entered the inside, again Ed was very informative and thorough with his inspection. We were very please with his knowledge and time spent, he really did an excellent inspection for us. Ed also turned his detailed report around in less than 24 hours!

Ed is not only helpful, kind, and experienced, but he produced an incredibly detailed inspection report. Ed was very helpful and timely. With very short notice he did a thorough inspection, and also gave us lots of information and pictures to help us with regular maintenance when we move into the house. He is also very easy to reach and has lots of wisdom about the building trade, zoning in Ocean City, etc. His 22 page report was provided one day after the inspection and addressed issues from the roof to the garage and everything in between.

This is 3rd house I have bought. Ed Wisham was the best home inspector I have used. The report was very good, thorough, had pictures and details. Ed was very easy to work with and inspected extra items that were not originally included.
Two items which I disagree with Ed:
1. Gas log fireplace should be included. Ed said it was not. We worked with Ed to light the gas log, check that the operation was normal, and he added the gas log to his report.
2. Common areas that are shared with the other owner, most of the exterior, were not originally included. These should be included, because if they need maintenance/repairs, at least half the cost, will be paid by the new owners if not corrected before the sale. We worked with Ed to inspect roofing and siding. He added siding (stucco) damage to his report.

Ed Wisham is an excellent home inspector. I requested his service to inspect a home which I'm going to buy. He inspected Roofing, Exterior, Garage, Interiors, Structural Components, Plumbing System, Electrical System, Heating / Central Air Conditioning, Insulation and Ventilation and Built-In Kitchen Appliances. His reports consist three sections Repair/Replace Summary
Monitor/Maintain Summary, Improvement/Upgrade Summary. Any issues he encountered reported with red texts and pictures which I like most. His reports are very clear and concise. I will give him absolutely 10 without any hesitant.
