My inspector from On The Level was actually Andy Macomber. He was amazing. The house we want to buy is an historic home, with an original frame built in the late 1700's but new additions built in the last decade. Andy conducted a very thorough inspection from the roof to the baseboards and knew all of the peculiar details of historic homes to watch out for. He suggested custom repairs for historic features that only a specialist could know, while also pointing out small items I could do myself to insure a longer life for my new old house. I wish I could contract Andy to do some of the suggested repairs, but he is an honest inspector and could not accept an offer to do the work since it would be a conflict of interest. I highly suggest hiring Andy for the inspection of an historic home.
