Matt was great! I'm a plumber with considerable knowledge in the construction trade and, I was very impressed. Matt had the knowledge, gadgets, and he took the initiative and time to investigate and explain concerns that I knew about, and the surprises along the way. He also was available on short notice (I think I got lucky) and came even though a family member had just gotten out of surgery. Thats the way to provide an exceptional service Matt! WOW...Matt was so quick and efficient (even worked on the weekend--something that wouldn't happen here in Toronto)! He patiently endured my hundreds of e-mails, phone calls and questions (I wasn't in town for the inspection). He did so with details and a great sense of humor! He answered everything, measured everything, took 360 videos of everything. I was amazed at how wonderful and seamless the whole thing was. He was meticulous in the inspection. Nothing went unchecked. As I am not from the area and asked for his help in renovations I wanted to do, he provided me with a list of 5 different ones (on a Sunday night after 10 pm)! I would highly recommend using Matt for your home inspection! We used Matt to inspect a rural property with just over an acre and several out buildings. He was extremely thorough and detailed during the over four hours we were at the property. During the entire time he was patient and confident with explanations as to any items that were in need of repair or attention. The report itself included all known flaws captured by either picture or video that allows us to create a to do list as soon as we take possession as well as the likely correction action. Appreciate the flexibility - coming out on short notice and in the evening when all parties were available. Thorough inspection; allowed for opportunity to clarify things/ask questions along the way. Most items inspected despite cold temperatures and lack of daylight. Knowledge of household items, appliances and structure evident - only a confusing electrical issue which lead to a question mark.
